Dec / Jan Update ´09 Hello everyone, We were blessed to have December spending some quality time with family and friends. I was also blessed to have all the front suspension rebuilt on my truck. We want to give special thanks to Sis. Shirley Hight and the "Tweenagers class" of our church for remembering our children's Christmas and their generous love offering. Special thanks also go out to Byron Smith and Crestview Baptist Church for allowing us to stay in their "guest house" in Midland. We had to work our trip around Monica's six month appointment with the Shriner's Hospital in Shreveport. Monica had her appointment on the 29th of December. There was no problems with her knee or spine. She will be under their care until she is 18 years old. Everyone please pray for the Scuitto family, their middle daughter Katie has also been diagnosed with scoliosis. We were able to get them in touch with the Shriner's Hospital. They should receive word from them soon on when her first appointment will be. Even though we all enjoyed our time home in Mississippi everyone was getting homesick for their friends and other family. In December the Friday night youth meetings and Sunday night services continued with Pablo and Adriana, leading the services. We were pleased to find out that new people have been coming. We have received word from Ed Albrite with the Christian Missionary Alliance in Montana, that he and a group want to go down and help finish an on-going projects or do a new one this year. We were contacted this week from a lady we met in Creel last year wanting to help with the project for San Louis Majimachi. She and her group are water engineers and have taken an interest the work in the Sierras. Everyone please pray for the projects, outreaches, services and protection in the mountains. There are other exciting things we are praying about that are "in the works" that we ask you to be praying about also. We will keep you informed as they develop. Once again we are excited and eager to see what God is going to do this year in Creel and the surrounding area. Shelly and I thank each of you for sharing and being a part of blessing
these precious people, the Tarahumara Indians, with your support and prayers. Onor uami' micuirsa' (God
Bless You in Tarahumara)
