Update on Monica.

The thirteenth of August we returned to Shreveport, Louisiana. We had to take Monica back to the Shriner's Hospital for a checkup to see how her knee was doing. Her doctor said that her knee is healing like it should and that there are no problems. They also x-rayed her back to see if the curvature of her spine had increased. It has, and she has been having some pains in her chest and back. They have scheduled an operation for her on October 25th. It will be a very serious operation that will last around four hours. Titanium rods will be inserted on each of her spine to straighten the curve. After the operation she will be in a brace for six to eight weeks. Please keep her in your prayers as this will be her second major surgery this year.
