Thanksgiving 2010
Hello everyone,
First off, we pray our family and friends back home in the States have a Blessed and Happy Thanksgiving. This year we are spending Thanksgiving here in Mexico with our ministry partners Pablo, Adriana and their family.
This will be the first time they have ever experienced a Mississippi Thanksgiving. Shelly is cooking all of our favorite Southern dishes - yummy! We are all excited and looking forward to it although we will miss our family back home in Corinth
during this time.
We are sending out a special Thanksgiving newsletter at this time because we want to express and give a special thank you to our Pastor, Nelson Hight, our home church, Church of the Crossroads and to Pastor Rob Westbrook and the
people of LifePointe Church in Amory Mississippi. These two churches have sponsored the funds for us to build a multipurpose salon - church in the village of Yaguirachi where we have been working for over a year. This is going to be such a
blessing because for the past year we have had to have services outside. We have prayed for quite a while for God to bless us with a place to have our weekly church services. We never know from week to week whether we'll be able to go depending
on the weather. But now Praise God this will be the first church in this Tarahumara village!
On Saturday the 4th of December we will be having the Christmas outreach that so many of you have played a part in. We will keep you updated on how everything went.
